Elijah Blue Allman, the 49-year-old son of legendary singer Cher, was arrested Friday night after causing a major disturbance at an elite New Hampshire prep school—the latest chapter in a long saga of personal struggles that have played out publicly.

Concord police responded to St. Paul's School around 6:51 p.m. after reports of an aggressive, unwanted visitor creating chaos in the dining hall. Officers identified the man as Allman, who has no known connection to the prestigious institution.

He now faces serious charges including two counts of simple assault, criminal trespass, criminal threatening, and disorderly conduct. Allman was processed and released on personal recognizance bail, with a court date pending.

This incident comes amid a turbulent period for Allman. His wife, Marieangela King, filed for divorce in May 2025 after 12 years of marriage—their second attempt at separation after reconciling in 2024.

The family drama intensified in 2022 when King accused Cher of orchestrating a kidnapping—a claim Cher vehemently denied, calling it "not true." Then in 2023, Cher sought a conservatorship over her son, citing mental health and substance abuse concerns, though she withdrew the petition in September 2024.

Allman's attorneys previously stated about the conservatorship withdrawal: "This outcome allows the parties to focus on healing and rebuilding their family bond."

Following in his famous parents' footsteps—Cher and late musician Gregg Allman—Elijah has carved out his own musical career as frontman of the rock band Deadsy, collaborating with artists like Thirty Seconds to Mars and Korn.

Neither Allman nor Cher's representatives have commented on the arrest. As this story develops, it raises questions about celebrity, family struggles, and the pressures of growing up in the shadow of icons.
