In a heartbreaking Instagram post, Ray J confessed his heart is functioning at only 25% capacity. "I almost died," he admitted, crediting prayers and fan support for pulling through. But the most devastating revelation came when he claimed doctors told him he has mere months to live, stating "2027 is definitely a wrap for me" - though a friend has disputed this timeline.

The singer made a shocking confession about the cause of his condition: "I f---ed up." Ray J attributed his failing heart to long-term drug and alcohol abuse, revealing that his heart's right side has darkened from substance use. He admitted he couldn't handle substances like Adderall and that his choices have "shortened his lifespan."

The most emotional part of Ray J's story involves his children. In a TMZ interview, he revealed that his love for his kids, Melody Love and Epik Ray, is his primary motivation to change his lifestyle. But in a cruel twist, he currently cannot see them due to a protective order from his Thanksgiving arrest - adding unimaginable emotional strain to his physical battle.
