In a fiery social media tirade that's gone viral, former President Donald Trump unleashed a blistering attack on Bad Bunny's Super Bowl Halftime Show, calling it "one of the worst EVER" and "an affront to the Greatness of America." The controversial comments have sparked immediate backlash and reignited debates about cultural representation and political rhetoric.

"The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER!" Trump declared. "It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn't represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence." (Notably, Bad Bunny and all Puerto Ricans are American citizens, as the island is a U.S. territory.)

Trump's criticism escalated as he targeted the performance directly: "Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World."

The former president then pivoted to economic comparisons, stating: "This 'Show' is just a 'slap in the face' to our Country, which is setting new standards and records every single day — including the Best Stock Market and 401(k)s in History!"

In a direct challenge to media coverage, Trump added: "There is nothing inspirational about this mess of a Halftime Show and watch, it will get great reviews from the Fake News Media, because they haven't got a clue of what is going on in the REAL WORLD."

Perhaps most revealing was Trump's admission about the global superstar: "I've never heard of him. I don't know who he is." He continued: "I don't know why they're doing it. It's crazy. And then they blame it on some promoter they hired to pick up entertainment — I think it's absolutely ridiculous."

The former president made his position crystal clear: "I'm anti-them. I think it's a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible."

In a dramatic escalation, Trump threatened legal action: "It looks like I'll be sending my lawyers to sue this poor, pathetic, talentless, dope of an M.C., and suing him for plenty$." This comes as Turning Point's "All-American Halftime Show" was marketed as a tribute to "faith, family, and freedom" — themes that appear to clash with Trump's perception of Bad Bunny's performance.

The comments have already sparked fierce debate online, with supporters praising Trump's "patriotism" while critics accuse him of cultural insensitivity and divisive rhetoric. As the 2026 Super Bowl fades from memory, Trump's words ensure the halftime show controversy will continue to dominate headlines.
