Kristin Cabot, the HR executive whose secret kiss with her married boss went viral during a Coldplay concert last summer, is now revealing a jaw-dropping twist: her estranged husband was also in the stadium that night.
"My daughter texted me saying, 'It's so great you and Andrew are both at Coldplay,'" Cabot told Oprah Winfrey in an exclusive clip from The Oprah Podcast. Andrew is her estranged husband, Andrew Cabot, CEO of a rum distillery—not to be confused with Andy Byron, her married boss whom she was caught cozying up with on the kiss cam.
"So she let me know my estranged husband was at the concert too," Cabot continued. "I thought, 'Is this going to be weird if he sees me with Andy?' But then I figured, 'I'm in Gillette Stadium with 55,000 people—I probably won't run into him.'" In hindsight, she admits, "That would have been better if I'd just run into him."
Cabot insists her husband understood their "very close" working relationship, noting they'd shared desks with CEOs and socialized regularly. A source close to Cabot revealed Andrew was actually on his own date at the concert.
The fallout, however, was anything but fine. Coldplay's Chris Martin spotlighted the moment live, quipping, "Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy." The TikTok video exploded, leading both Cabot and Byron to resign from their roles at data firm Astronomer.
Cabot later claimed Byron was separating from his wife, but the couple has since been photographed together wearing wedding rings. Reflecting on the scandal, Cabot said, "I made a bad decision and had a couple of High Noons and danced inappropriately with my boss." She faced relentless harassment, adding, "I want my kids to know you can screw up, but you don't have to be threatened to be killed for it."
