In a bombshell interview that's going viral, former CNN anchor Don Lemon has revealed explosive details about his recent arrest by federal agents—an incident he describes as a "calculated humiliation tactic" by authorities targeting his journalism.
Speaking exclusively to Jimmy Kimmel, Lemon detailed how FBI agents swarmed him outside his Los Angeles hotel early Friday morning, pushing him and attempting to handcuff him without initially identifying themselves or presenting a warrant.
"I'm holding up, but this is serious—these are federal criminal charges," Lemon, 59, told Kimmel. "Their goal is to humiliate you, to intimidate you, to instill fear. That's why they handled it this way."

The most shocking revelation? Agents didn't have a physical warrant and had to wait for an FBI agent to arrive and show one on his phone. "I asked, 'If you are who you claim, where is the warrant?' They didn't have one," Lemon recalled.
Lemon was detained for approximately 13 hours at a federal courthouse facility, denied an initial phone call, and says about a dozen agents were involved in his apprehension—a move he calls a "misuse of resources" since he had previously offered to surrender voluntarily.
The journalist's husband only discovered his location because Lemon asked an agent to remove his diamond bracelet and return it to his husband at their hotel. "Otherwise," Lemon revealed, "no one would have known where I was."
The arrest stems from Lemon's reporting at a Minnesota church service involving a pastor linked to ICE on January 18. Lemon emphasized: "I am not a protester. I was there as a journalist," documenting events during a demonstration where activists opposed St. Paul's Cities Church pastor.
A grand jury has indicted Lemon on conspiracy charges and allegations of interfering with churchgoers' First Amendment rights—charges his lawyer Abbe Lowell calls "an unprecedented assault on the First Amendment."
After his release on a personal recognizance bond, Lemon told reporters: "The First Amendment safeguards my work and that of countless other journalists. I stand with them all, and I will not be silenced."
The Department of Justice and White House have been contacted for comment on Lemon's explosive allegations about his arrest treatment.
