Jennifer Lopez is pulling back the curtain on her emotional journey following her divorce from Ben Affleck, revealing she made the drastic decision to "stop everything" to rebuild her life from the ground up.

The 56-year-old superstar, gearing up for her Las Vegas residency, now describes herself as entering a "happy era" and embracing solitude—a stark contrast to the turmoil she faced post-split. Healing didn't come overnight; it required a complete pause.

"I was just at a point where I was like, 'What is going on with you?'" she recalled. "Because I couldn't blame anybody else. Because I don't think that that's where the lesson is. And so, I really wanted to figure myself out."

Known for her romantic entanglements, J.Lo now feels "free" flying solo. She's actively avoiding dating or new relationships—a significant shift for someone who once feared loneliness above all else.

"I've always had a boyfriend," she admitted. "There was always kind of, like, someone in my life and so many other things that I felt like were out of my control. I've gotten to the point where I really trust myself and appreciate myself a little bit more instead of being so hard on myself all the time."

"I am happy, and I am healthy, and I'm grateful," J.Lo declared. "That's who I am today. And I'm surrounded by love, which is the best part."
