Live from London, it's Tina Fey! The legendary Saturday Night Live alum is bringing her comedic genius across the pond to host the debut episode of the UK version on March 21. English rock band Wet Leg will join as the musical guest, kicking off this highly anticipated international expansion.

Fey's SNL legacy is nothing short of historic. Starting as a writer in 1997, she broke barriers by becoming the show's first female head writer in 1999. She joined the cast in 2000, co-anchoring Weekend Update before leaving in 2006 to create and star in 30 Rock. She has since returned to host six times, cementing her status as an SNL icon.

Following Fey, Irish actor Jamie Dornan will host on March 28 with musical guest Wolf Alice. Oscar winner Riz Ahmed, a London native, will headline the third episode on April 4, featuring a performance by Kasabian.

The UK SNL is executive produced by original creator Lorne Michaels, with Seth Meyers among the alums assisting the new team. However, not everyone is optimistic. British comedian John Oliver has voiced skepticism, calling it a "terrible idea" and questioning how the unique SNL "cult" can be imposed on the UK.
