In a jaw-dropping Oval Office confrontation, former President Donald Trump unleashed a personal attack on CNN's Kaitlan Collins, questioning her smile instead of addressing explosive Epstein document revelations.
Collins, CNN's chief White House correspondent, pressed Trump about newly released Epstein files that survivors say contain alarming redactions. Trump responded by calling the scandal a "conspiracy against me" before pivoting to Collins' facial expressions.
"You are so bad," Trump declared. "You are the worst reporter. CNN has no ratings because of people like you."
Then came the bizarre personal critique: "You know, she's a young woman. I don't think I've ever seen you smile. I've known you for 10 years. I don't think I've ever seen a smile on your face."
When Collins, 33, tried to refocus on Epstein survivors, Trump interrupted: "You know why you're not smiling? Because you know you're not telling the truth. And you're a very dishonest organization, and they should be ashamed of you."
Collins stood her ground, emphasizing: "These are survivors of a sexual abuser."
A CNN spokesperson fired back: "Kaitlan Collins is an exceptional journalist, reporting every day from the White House and the field with real depth and tenacity. She skillfully brings that reporting to the anchor chair and CNN platforms every day, which audiences around the world know they can trust."

Collins later revealed on Jake Tapper's program that Epstein survivors are "unhappy with what has come out of the Justice Department." She added: "I just spoke to one on Friday night who was saying that entire witness interviews with the FBI were redacted. The entire page was blacked out. And so these are real questions."
This isn't Trump's first clash with female journalists over Epstein. In November 2025, he told a Bloomberg News reporter to "get a life" when she asked about the files containing potentially explosive revelations.
