Jodie Sweetin has finally spilled the tea on one of Hollywood's longest-running mysteries: the true inspiration behind Alanis Morissette's iconic breakup anthem "You Oughta Know." In a bombshell revelation, Sweetin admits she pieced together the clues years ago—and it all points to her Full House costar Dave Coulier.
"Some of the lyrics hit me like a ton of bricks," Sweetin confessed. "I remember listening and thinking, 'Wait, I know exactly who that's about.'" She specifically called out the line about Morissette's ex dating someone who looked like "an older version" of her, noting that Coulier's next girlfriend bore a striking resemblance to the singer.
For years, Sweetin kept the revelation to herself, but as she grew older, the Full House cast finally let her in on the behind-the-scenes drama. "Once you're not 'the kid' anymore, they spill everything," she laughed. "Suddenly, it was like, 'Here's all the dirt you missed.'"

Morissette has famously never confirmed the subject of the song, but Sweetin's insider account adds fuel to the decades-old speculation. Could this finally be the confirmation fans have been waiting for? One thing's for sure: the Full House family secrets are still making headlines.
