Kid Rock has responded to Conan O'Brien's Oscars jab about his "All-American Halftime Show," calling the comedian's quip "not a very good one." The singer didn't miss the chance to promote his upcoming Freedom 250 tour while addressing the diss.

During the 98th Academy Awards, O'Brien joked about an "alternate Oscars" hosted by Kid Rock at a Dave & Buster's, referencing Turning Point USA's conservative halftime show that aired as a protest to Bad Bunny's Super Bowl performance. Kid Rock took to social media the next day to reply.

"I love a good joke, even when I am the butt of it, unfortunately this was not a very good one," Kid Rock wrote, before plugging his tour celebrating 250 years of American independence. "If you want to see a REAL good show this spring/summer that celebrates America and 250 years of Freedom - make sure you buy your tickets from (ugh) Ticketmaster."

The "All-American Halftime Show," billed as a celebration of "faith, family and freedom," was created in response to Bad Bunny's Spanish-language Super Bowl performance, which drew criticism from some conservative groups. The event attracted about 6 million live viewers, while Bad Bunny's official YouTube upload has amassed 125 million views.

Kid Rock previously commented on Bad Bunny's performance, saying, "Like most people, I didn't understand any of it," and faulting the NFL for the booking. O'Brien's Oscars hosting included multiple zingers, with Timothée Chalamet also among his targets.

TheEntBase reached out to Conan O'Brien's representatives but did not receive an immediate response.
